RAPID Biomedical社ではラットやマウスなどの研究用アプリケーションを提供しています。 主な製品は、ボリュームコイル、サーフェイスコイル、アレイコイルなどで磁場強度は最大21テスラまで対応できます。また、コイルはBrukerやVarian等のMRIコンソールに適応します。

ボリュームコイル(送信)とサーフェイスコイル(受信)を組み合わせて使用するタイプです。 通常、RAPID社製デカップリングユニットを使用しますが、Bruker社製MRIではデカップリングユニットを使用することも可能です。

ボリュームコイルは内径72mm、外径は90mm〜グラジエントの内径に合わせサイズを指定できます。

サーフェイスコイルはラット用、マウス用がありそれぞれ専用の動物ホルダーも提供しています。
